Jib Sleeve (JSL)

Covers furled jib. Has a grommet to pull it up with the jib halyard. Flat piece that is rolled around the furled jib and then has snaps and twist locks to close as it is hoisted with the halyard.

This is the easiest visual cue to tell which jib you have. 16.0 ft jib: Clew sits lower Sheet angle is flatter Looks more like a "working jib" 16.5 ft jib: Clew sits higher Sheet angle is steeper Looks slightly more "triangular" If the clew looks like it sits several inches higher off the deck → it's the 16.5 ft version.
